About Tenachine

We build software for self-directed investors who want to test ideas before they trade them, not after.

Why we built it

Most retail investors hear a strategy on a podcast and place real money behind it the same week. We wanted a tool that takes that idea, runs it on actual price history, and shows you what would have happened.

What it does

You describe a strategy in plain English. We turn that description into a backtest, run it on years of daily US stock data, and return the same headline metrics a quant desk would: equity curve, drawdown, win rate, profit factor, total return.

On top of that we have three 13F tools: a screener for famous managers, a single-investor analyzer, and a side by side ranking view.

What it isn't

Tenachine is not a broker, not an advisor, and we do not place trades or hold money. Backtests are simulations of the past. They do not promise anything about the future. Read the terms and privacy notice for the details.

Who's behind it

A small independent team. We don't take outside money, we don't sell your data, and we don't push trades. If you have feedback, ideas, or you spot a bug, write to hello@tenachine.com.
